According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is OUT today for their home game against the Detroit Lions.
It was hoped that former West Virginia quarterback Will Grier would replace Bridgewater and get the start, but Head Coach Matt Rhule instead decided to start the undrafted PJ Walker instead.
This appeared to be an excellent opportunity for Grier, but instead he will be on the sidelines watching again. It is possible that Grier could see time today if Walker struggles. Stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for updates!
The #Panthers made a change: Instead of keeping Teddy Bridgewater as active and emergency QB, they have now made him inactive. So, PJ Walker starts.
