Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia wide receiver Winston Wright, one of the team’s most dynamic players this past season and one of the best kick returners in college football, decided to leave the Mountaineers football program and entered the transfer portal following West Virginia’s bowl loss.

After visiting several schools and doing his research on their programs, Wright appears ready to make his decision where he will play football next.

Wright post the following message moments ago on his personal social media account, revealing his Final 3 and adding that he will make his announcement later tonight:

Wright, who had 63 receptions for 688 yards and 5 touchdowns this season for the Mountaineers, will play somewhere in the SEC Conference with South Carolina, Kentucky and Mississippi State making his Final 3 with Kentucky being the rumored heavy favorite to land his services.

Wright, a redshirt junior, will have two full years of eligibility remaining.
