With WVU set to wear Veteran’s Day uniforms tonight against Monmouth, Athletic Director Wren Baker teased more special threads coming later in the season.
Morgantown, WV – The West Virginia Men’s Basketball team is set to tip-off tonight against Monmouth at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. Head Coach Josh Eilert will be looking for his second victory in yet another tune-up game for his squad before heading into the thick of his schedule.
Yesterday, the team’s official social media accounts revealed a special uniform that they will be wearing tonight to honor those who have served on Veteran’s Day. The white uniform with camouflage lightly applied throughout will surely be a hit with fans.

Athletic Director Wren Baker then met fans with a surprise – well, at least a tease of a surprise.
In a tweet, Baker provided the fans with something to speculate, asking if this would be the “only surprise this year?”
Wonder if this is the only surprise this year?!?!?? 🤔 😳 😲 😬 🤷♂️ https://t.co/aXbQ6MvsW4

This led fans to speculate the possible return of the black jerseys featured during the 2010 Final Four run. The return of those uniforms has been rumored throughout the offseason, and it now appears that the door has been opened for their official return.
Stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for updates.
