WVU Adds Assistant Coach

Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, the WVU Men’s Basketball team announced the first assistant coach hire for the Darian DeVries era. Nick Norton, a former three-year assistant with Drake, will be following DeVries to Morgantown as an assistant and director of player development.

West Virginia University shared a press release along with the announcement. Included in the release was a comment from DeVries regarding the hire.

Here is what DeVries had to say:

“Nick is a hard worker who brings great enthusiasm and tremendous energy to our basketball program. He always has a great rapport with our players and has a strong basketball IQ. Nick fits our basketball staff and our program extremely well.”
