Morgantown, WV – With National Signing Day drawing near, the West Virginia Mountaineers are still hot on the recruiting trail. Earlier this morning, Neal Brown and company added to the 2024 class with a commitment from Illinois.
Lucas Austin, an 247Sports three-star offensive lineman, officially committed to the Mountaineers via social media.

Austin also held offers from Air Force, Army, and Miami (Ohio) among others. Standing at 6’7”, he becomes the tallest commitment to WVU this recruiting cycle.
