West Virginia (5-3, 4-3) defeated the TCU Horned Frogs (3-4, 3-4) in front of a limited capacity crowd in Morgantown this afternoon, 24-6.

The Mountaineers once again put forth a solid defensive effort. For the first time this season, the Jordan Lesley/Jahmile Addae led unit held their opponent without a touchdown. The Horned Frogs were held to under 300 total yards on the day, and turned the ball over twice.

West Virginia’s offense was efficient on the day. Jarret Doege finished 19-of-26 for 212 yards and two touchdowns to no interceptions. He also finished with a rushing touchdown.

Leddie Brown ran the ball 24 times for 156 yards. T.J. Simmons led all receivers with 4 catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns. The Mountaineers finished with 392 total yards.

West Virginia will have a bye week before playing Oklahoma in Morgantown on Thanksgiving weekend. A network and time have yet to be announced for the contest.
