
WVU is a No. 6 seed in the Big 12 Tournament and will open against third seed Oklahoma in the last quarterfinal game Thursday night.
The Mountaineers (21-10, 9-9 Big 12) finished in a four-way tie for third place in the conference with Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech. The Mountaineers finished last in the round robin record (2-4) with the other three teams, rendering them the six seed. Oklahoma (4-2) had the best round robin record to earn the third seed.
OU swept the season series from WVU, winning 69-59 in Norman, Okla., on Feb. 8 and winning in Morgantown, 73-62, on Feb. 29.
Tip off will be approximately around 9:30 Thursday night in Kansas City.
