WVU Comes Back to Beat Oklahoma State on the Road

After trailing by nearly twenty points in the second half, WVU used a massive comeback to beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 87-84, in Stillwater.

Though the defense struggled for most of the night, the team came through when it needed to most, and shut down the Cowboys in the end.

Derek Culver had a solid game for WVU. He would once again have a double-double, finishing with 22 points and 19 rebounds. Taz Sherman also kept up his hot streak, going for 20 points off of the bench. As a team, WVU shot 41.4% from the floor.

The Mountaineers improve to 9-3 overall on the season and 2-2 in the Big 12. Oklahoma State on the other hand falls to 7-3 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 play.

The Mountaineers will play Texas at 12:30 on Saturday in Morgantown. The game will be televised on ESPN.
