WVU Gets Embarrassed By Iowa State

Absolutely nothing went right for the Mountaineers today as they lost their fourth game of the season to Iowa State, 42-6.

The offense failed to get anything going for most of the day, finishing with only 54 yards rushing. Jarret Doege struggled with the Iowa State pressure all afternoon, and it showed in the box score. He would finish 21 of 41 for 209 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions.

Defensively, West Virginia would have their worst outing of the season, giving up almost 500 yards.

The Mountaineers will return home next week to take on the Oklahoma Sooners.
