Guard Seth Wilson is the inaugural West Virginia player to venture into the transfer portal this off-season. Having participated in 82 games during his tenure with West Virginia, Wilson shared the news via his Instagram account.

Expressing his sentiments, he wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I want to say that it has been a blessing to represent this great University and state. I want to thank all of my coaches, advisors, supporters, and fans over these past three years.”

Hailing from Ohio, Wilson maintained an average of 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds, consistent with his career statistics of 3.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Notably, he boasted a career 38-percent three-point shooting accuracy and retains one year of eligibility for his forthcoming destination.
