WVU holds spot in latest Bracketology forecast after back-to-back wins

 

West Virginia holds its place in the latest NCAA Tournament forecast after a 2-0 week with wins at Oklahoma State and home against Texas Tech.

The Mountaineers are again a No. 3 seed Joe Lunardi’s latest ESPN Bracketology projection. Lunardi has the Mountaineers as a third seed in the Midwest Region. Lunardi has WVU slated to open play in the Cleveland pod against 14 seed Colgate. Penn State (six seed) and the opening round winner of N.C. WVU is a No. 2 seed in the CBS Bracketology projection by Jerry Palm. Palm as the Mountaineers as the second seed in the East Region, opening against 15th seed Nebraska-Omaha.
