Today has been a big day for the Mountaineers in the preferred walk-on department.
Jake Robbins does indeed commit to West Virginia, he’ll be a preferred walk-on in Morgantown.

Jake Robbins, a quarterback from Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey, officially signed with West Virginia today as a preferred walk-on.
Prior to today, Robbins had yet to make an official commitment, but did visit WVU on January 17th, per his Twitter.

According to his HUDL, Robbins stands 6’1” and weighs 200 pounds – the typical size for a Big 12 quarterback.
Though the quarterback room is crowded, it will be interesting to see if the talented youngster can make any noise for playing time in his career.
