The West Virginia Mountaineer Football team added to the 2024 class today with a defensive commitment.
Morgantown, WV – Earlier today, Neal Brown and the Mountaineers added a major piece in the 2024 class.
Obinna Onwuka, a 247Sports four-star defensive end prospect, has officially committed to the Mountaineers via Twitter. The Maryland native is the 11th-rated overall player in the state, and the 27th-rated defensive end nationally.
Twelve FBS schools offered him – Virginia Tech, Marshall, and Penn State among others. Onwuka becomes the fourth player to join WVU’s 2024 class, and the second defensive lineman.
