WVU Linebacker Enters Transfer Portal

Morgantown, WV – The transfer portal isn’t quite finished with the West Virginia Mountaineers yet.

According to On3, WVU Linebacker Lance Dixon has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Dixon, who will have one year of eligibility remaining, transferred to WVU from Penn State prior to the 2021 season. In 25 career games for the Mountaineers, the Michigan native tallied 72 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 3 pass deflections.

His 2023 campaign was cut short by suspension after WVU’s loss to Houston. It was said to only be a one game suspension, but he did not see the field again for the rest of the season.
