WVU Makes Top 3 For Talented Defensive End

Three-star Defensive End Darryl Peterson out of Akron, Ohio released his top three schools Friday evening via Twitter. His short list included Alabama, Wisconsin, and West Virginia. Peterson is a part of the 2021 class, and one of the most sought after prospects on the defensive side of the ball. He also received an offer from Penn State.

The Mountaineers continue to make a big splash on the recruiting trail under Neal Brown. To be competing with schools with the pedigree of Alabama and Wisconsin bodes well for the West Virginia Football program moving forward.

There is no timetable for when Peterson will announce his final decision.
