WVU Men’s Basketball Hilariously Trolls Portland State

The West Virginia Mountaineers emerged victorious over the Portland State Vikings tonight, 89-71. Led behind a solid performance by Tre Mitchell (16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists), the good guys took a 17-point lead into the locker room and never looked back.

Prior to the game, Jase Coburn, Portland’s State’s head coach, was filmed giving his pregame speech.

Trying to fire his team up, Coburn stated that everyone would be saying Portland State is “tougher” than the Mountaineers by the end of the night. Well, not only did this not work out so well for him – but the Mountaineers were sure to call him out for it.

Here is the hilarious troll by the WVU Men’s Basketball Twitter page below.

A solid caption by the admins over the social media page. Short, sweet, and to the point.

“You’re not that guy, pal.”

The clip of Zach Galifianakis says it all. That was simply a laughable thing for Coburn to say.

The Vikings were shown big boy basketball tonight.

Let’s Go Mountaineers!
