WVU Opens as Surprisingly Small Favorite Against Tennessee

Even against a 3-7 Tennessee squad who has struggled this season, the Mountaineers still aren’t getting any respect from Vegas.

According to DraftKings, WVU has opened up as a 3.5 point favorite against the Volunteers. The two sides accepted a bowl invitation to the Liberty Bowl this evening, and will meet on New Year’s Eve in Memphis.

West Virginia and Tennessee have met once before in 2018. The Mountaineers would topple the Volunteers, 40-14, led by an incredible performance by Will Grier.
