Following a 20-13 victory over Texas Tech, the Mountaineers are now projected to go bowling in Fort Worth, Texas.
Morgantown, WV – The West Virginia Mountaineers currently sit at 3-1 with a lot of football left to play. Sitting at halfway to bowl eligibility, and with a relatively easier than expected schedule, many are beginning to believe that WVU will be playing this post season.
Mark Schlabach of ESPN revealed his bowl projections earlier today, and he currently has the Mountaineers traveling to Fort Worth, Texas to take on North Texas in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forced Bowl.
WVU and North Texas have never met on the gridiron.
The Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl is currently scheduled for December 23rd at 3:30 on ABC.
