In a recent ranking released by Bleacher Report, the West Virginia Mountaineer Football program was rated the 3rd best program to have never won a National Championship. Out of the teams ranked, the Mountaineers have the most all-time wins.
Among the other teams ranked were Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, and Oregon.
