WVU Receiver Enters Transfer Portal

Morgantown, WV – Earlier this evening, Rivals reported that WVU redshirt senior Graeson Malashevich has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Malashevich, a Ceredo, West Virginia native, has been a part of the Mountaineer Football program since the 2019 season. After redshirting his first year on campus, he was used primarily on special teams throughout his stint in Morgantown.

Malashevich appeared in 42 games for the Mountaineers. During his limited time on offense, he tallied 1 reception for 30 yards. He also compiled modest special teams numbers, returning 4 kickoffs for 54 yards, and 5 punts for 12 yards.

It was not the expectation that the Spring Valley product would have seen the field for WVU in 2024. He did not participate in the 2024 Gold-Blue Spring Game due to a lower-body injury.

Stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for updates on the transfer portal.
