West Virginia University recently released information regarding the contest against the Baylor Bears on October 13th. Within this information, parking was announced to begin at 5 p.m. That only gives fans two hours to tailgate prior to the game.
Many fans are baffled at this information, pleading that it is not right for WVU to only give fans a limited amount of time as opposed to other schools this season.
I nailed the October 7th Friday News Dump, but missed the time by an hour and 40 minutes. Regardless, the parking lots won't open until 5pm for a 7pm kickoff. Totally ridiculous. For comparison: inferior tailgaters pitt opened at 2 & VPI opened at 3. WVU opens at 5. BUSH LEAGUE!! https://t.co/yi96zu5iUj pic.twitter.com/PJtCZrMWGb

If we’re being honest, this barely gives fans enough time to even get parked and situated prior to the game. Of course I’m not the decision maker, but I just don’t understand it.
Nonetheless, we can expect fans to show up and show out prior to the game on the 13th.
West Virginia and Baylor kickoff at 7 p.m. with the game set to broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
