Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers were represented by head coach Neal Brown as well as senior standouts Leddie Brown and Dante Stills at the Big 12 Media Days today in Dallas, Texas.
Brown and Stills weren’t sure what to expect and were a bit nervous about all of the interviews, but said that they were really enjoying it.
Asked if they thought they could return to Dallas in the Big 12 Championship, Stills was very confident, saying, “I do. I do think that we can. I think we’re capable of that. We’re all ready to go and we’re all focused.”
Brown agreed with Stills: “Yeah, I don’t see why not. We’ve worked for four months to get to this point and so it’s definitely a possibility.”
Head coach Neal Brown appeared very confident and excited about his Mountaineers headed into the 2021-2022 season: “We can either prove people wrong that picked us to finish 6th in the Big 12 preseason poll, or we can prove them right. We want to prove them wrong.”
