Tonight, West Virginia completed the season sweep of Texas Tech with a victory in Lubbock, 82-71.

Sean McNeil was the difference maker for the Mountaineers tonight with Taz Sherman out of the lineup. The junior shot lights out, sinking 8 of his 11 shots, including 5 of 7 from three. He would finish with 26 points and 1 rebound.

Derek Culver and Miles McBride would also have solid performances, netting 15 and 19 points respectively.

West Virginia’s defense also had a better game this go around with the Red Raiders. Mac McClung, who torched the Mountaineers in their matchup in Morgantown, finished with only 17 points.

West Virginia will be back home on Saturday against Oklahoma. The game tips-off at 1 p.m. and will broadcast on ESPN+.
