On a last second layup by KK Deans, the Lady Mountaineers defeated Kansas State to advance in the Big 12 Tournament, 58-56.
Kysre Gondrezick led the Lady Mountaineers with 26 points and added 3 rebounds and 2 assists to her box score. KK Deans, who won the game with her final shot, finished with 11 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.
WVU used a huge comeback in the closing minutes to secure the win.
The Lady Mountaineers will now play in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament.
