Tonight, the WVU Women’s Basketball team raced to their eleventh-consecutive win with a 69-61 victory against Kansas in Morgantown. This impressive streak by Mike Carey and company has propelled the Lady Mountaineers into the top 20 nationally.

 

Tonight’s performance was a complete team effort, with four starters for West Virginia reaching double figures. Esmery Martinez led the way with 17 points.

The Lady Mountaineers will take on a struggling Oklahoma team in Morgantown this Sunday. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 2 p.m. and will broadcast on ESPN+.
