The West Virginia University Women’s Basketball team has taken yet another blow.
Grace Grocholski, a 2023 shooting guard prospect from Wisconsin, announced via Twitter that she has decommitted from WVU.
It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to reopen my recruitment due to the departure of Coach Dawn from West Virginia. I am eager to find a new home to continue my basketball career and I looking forward to the opportunity of competing at a high level. pic.twitter.com/5JwDoZMxkf

She claims Dawn Plitzuweit’s departure as why she will no longer be attending WVU.
Grocholski is a top 100 prospect, according to ESPN, and was WVU’s highest rated recruit in the 2023 class.
WVU is in the midst of a national search to find a replacement for Plitzuweit.
