MacLean recently spoke with Travis Branham of 247 and said the following about his recruitment: ¨West Virginia and Saint Mary´s have shown the most interest,” MacLean said. “They have been on me since I got to SoCal Academy. Ever since they came to practice during the first week coaches were able to get out, they have been talking to me. Those are my two most recent visits.¨
MacLean, who visited Morgantown on an official visit when the Mountaineers played Robert Morris in the team´s season opener, said the following about his trip to WVU: ¨The visit was great. They have a real family environment there. I got to see their home opener and there was 10,000 fans there. It is a little different with me being from Los Angeles; but after seeing all the love from them, I liked it a lot. The staff talked to me about how I would fit. They say I am similar to Tucker DeVries. I see him coming off screens and like how their team can shoot the ball and play fast.”
MacLean went to say what will ultimately be the deciding factor for where he ends up. “The main thing is seeing how I fit,” MacLean said. “I am also looking at where the school is and how much they really want me. I want to be a priority. It is going to be a tough decision, but I can only choose one school.”
Considering the fact that his teammate recently committed to West Virginia and his tremendous visit to Morgantown, look for the Mountaineers to land this outstanding recruit tomorrow afternoon!
