Ali Ragab Has Entered the Transfer Portal

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, Ali Ragab informed The Voice of Morgantown that he’s entering the transfer portal. “I spoke with Coach (DeVries) this morning and I decided to enter the portal,” Ragab told VOM.

Ragab, a 7’0 center from Cairo, Egypt, transferred to West Virginia last season from Gannon University. At Gannon, he averaged 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. While at West Virginia, he did not receive any minutes on the court during the season and so he did not have any official statistics for the Mountaineers.

Ragab has not discussed his potential future plans in detail, but he will attempt to finish out his collegiate career at a program at a lower level.
