After it was reported on Monday that WVU’s defense was “dominate” during practice, we all assumed that it was due to the continued struggles on offense. However, receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton took to Twitter to share his praise of the WVU defense, potentially signaling a big year in the works for the unit.
Our defense this year😳🔥

“Our defense this year,” coupled with a fire and surprised emoji is all Ford-Wheaton had to say. The redshirt sophomore receiver sees something special brewing on the opposite side of the ball, and we should all begin to pick up excitement for their potential this season.
Despite losing defensive coordinator Vic Koenning, the unit has the talent to be special. We will have to wait until September 12th to see the product everyone is raving about, but we should expect some fun in Morgantown this season.
