CBS Sports Ranks Neal Brown the Worst Coach in the Big 12

The bad keeps getting worse for WVU Head Coach Neal Brown.

Morgantown, WV – WVU Head Coach Neal Brown has had a rough offseason in the media. Not only was his team picked as the worst in the Big 12, but he has regularly resided on the “hot seat” lists for many outlets around the country.

Well, that didn’t change with the release of the Big 12 Coaching Rankings for CBS Sports today.

According to Dean Straka of CBS Sports, Neal Brown comes in as the WORST head coach in the Big 12 Conference.

Here is what the analyst had to say about Brown:

“Brown won 35 games in four years at Troy, but it’s been a different story in Morgantown. West Virginia is still seeking its first non-losing season under Brown, who is 22-25 since his arrival. With key roster and staff departures this offseason, more challenges appear to be on deck in a make-or-break year for Brown.”

Brown and the Mountaineers will have a chance to prove the doubters wrong when they kick off their 2023 season at Penn State. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 on NBC.
