Morgantown, West Virginia – ESPN Analyst and former college basketball head coach Fran Fraschilla is in Morgantown to see the West Virginia Mountaineers and he is impressed.
Fraschilla, who coached at Manhattan, St. John’s and New Mexico before becoming an analyst, said the following about the Mountaineers: “I’ll have a better idea about team after tomorrow’s scrimmage, but my quick first impression is that the team obviously has NBA size and great depth. Shooting seems much-improved, especially (Taz) Sherman and (Sean) McNeil. Long-term get excited about (Jalen) Bridges and (Isaiah) Cottrell. Deuce (Miles McBride) is the quiet leader.”
