Former Mountaineers Congratulate Huggins on Hall of Fame

Morgantown, West Virginia – Bob Huggins has finally been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and will be enshrined Saturday, September 10th.

Several of Huggins’ former and current players posted messages on social media to congratulate their coach on the honor.

Jalen Bridges, who recently left West Virginia and entered the transfer portal, said the following: “Congrats to Coach Huggins on being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame! Well-deserved, blessed to be a part of a small chapter of your storied career!”

Former West Virginia star and current New York Knicks point guard Miles “Deuce” McBride said, “About time! Congrats to the GOAT!”

Former Mountaineers point guard and current UNLV Player Jordan McCabe added, “It’s about damn time!”
