MORGANTOWN, WV – The West Virginia Mountaineers have struck gold with their quarterback position. Not only did Garrett Greene exceed expectations in 2023, but he is expected to now be one of the best signal-callers in college football in 2024.
According to Max Chadwick of On3, Greene is the most underrated quarterback in college football heading into 2024.

Greene was named Chadwick’s 7th best returning quarterback in the sport earlier this week.
If the Florida native can stay healthy in 2024, the Mountaineers will quickly elevate their status to Big 12 contenders. The offense finally found its identity with Greene under center. For the first time under Neal Brown, there is finally life in the program. Much of this can be in thanks to Greene’s growth as a signal-caller.
Should the stars align, it’s not outrageous to believe Greene will be a Heisman contender, if not at least receive consideration.
