Geno Smith has come a long way since his days with the Mountaineers. WVU’s all-time passing leader has had a very long road to get to where he is at, but earlier today he claimed a franchise record as quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks.

In today’s Rams-Seahawks contest, Smith broke the Seahawks’ single-season record for passing yards. Russell Wilson, who is now quarterback for the Denver Broncos, previously held the record (4,219 yards).
This is a pretty solid feat for a quarterback everyone wrote-off.
And as we all know, Smith isn’t writing back to them anytime soon.
