Morgantown, WV – Mountaineer Nation has held their collective breath over the last week as the NCAA Transfer Portal is officially open for business. This has not been a kind period of time to WVU historically, as evident through departures in previous years.
Many have feared that Running Back Jahiem White would be a player that many teams would try to poach from the Mountaineers. After much speculation, fans were finally greeted with some great news regarding White.
Earlier this evening, the Pennsylvania native announced his intentions to return to WVU in 2024 via X.

White finished the 2023 regular season with 792 rushing yards and 5 total touchdowns. He will be a pivotal piece to a 2024 WVU offense that will be one of the best in the Big 12 if not the nation.
