According to John Brice of Football Scoop, former WVU quarterback Pat White has been relieved of his duties with the South Florida Bulls football program.

White, who is arguably the greatest quarterback in WVU history, served as the Bulls’ running backs coach during the 2020 season. He becomes the second former Mountaineer quarterback in as many weeks to “depart” from their respective programs, as Clint Trickett was let go as Florida Atlantic’s offensive coordinator on January 3rd.

If Neal Brown were willing to give him a position, White would be a fantastic hire for his staff at WVU. Not only is he adored by fans, but players would be able learn under one of the biggest names in the program’s history.
