According to Rivals, former WVU safety Derrek Pitts has once again entered his name into the NCAA’s transfer portal. The South Charleston graduate played for the Mountaineers from 2017 to 2018 before transferring to Marshall prior to the 2019 season.
While at WVU, Pitts tallied 36 tackles, one sack and one interception. With the Herd he added 46 tackles, including two that were for a loss.
Pitts will be a graduate transfer, exercising his extra year of eligibility gifted by the NCAA to all athletes due to COVID-19.
