The Big 12 is still chaotic, but that is why we are here to give all ten teams their proper power ranking.

Here are The Voice of Motown’s post-week five Big 12 power rankings:

  1. Oklahoma State
  2. Iowa State
  3. Kansas State
  4. West Virginia
  5. Oklahoma
  6. Baylor
  7. TCU
  8. Texas
  9. Texas Tech
  10. Kansas

Notes regarding rankings:

  • The Big 12 title race runs through Stillwater this year. With their stout defense and Chuba Hubbard in the backfield, it is hard to imagine anyone beating the Cowboys at the moment.
  • Neither Iowa State or Kansas State will be able to continue this run. One will stumble at some point. Being that the Cyclones have one of the most talented rosters in the league, we had to place them above the Wildcats for the time being.
  • Yes, West Virginia is better than Oklahoma this season. Does that mean they will finally beat them? We will see. But I have more faith in the Mountaineers.
  • Texas still isn’t back.
  • It may be time for Kansas to fire Les Miles and move to the FCS. This is pathetic.
