The Next Great Running Back at West Virginia University

Morgantown, West Virginia – Ramon Brown, the four star running back from Midlothian, Virginia, is one of the top recruits in the state of Virginia in the 2022 class.

With offers galore, Brown will have the opportunity to attend virtually any big-name program in the country, but West Virginia University might just give him the best opportunity to develop into a star.

West Virginia’s offensive line is quickly becoming dominant and Neal Brown’s offense could be built around a running back like Ramon Brown.

Brown, who currently holds offers from Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland, Michigan State, North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia University,  has incredible speed and he has the ability to lower his shoulder and punish opposing defenders.  Brown is truly a complete back with superstar potential.

According to National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn, “Brown has the frame to develop into power runner to compliment speed. Runs 55 meters in 6.81 seconds. Quick feet with ability to change direction. Good vision within the hole. Elusive behind the line of scrimmage. Runs with power. Sets up blocks well in open field. Has good stiff arm. Runs with low pad level. Has to continue to add strength. Developing more as a pass catcher important. Multi-year starter at Top 20 program. Day 3 NFL draft potential.”

With Leddie Brown graduating after this season, a new Brown – Ramon Brown – could be the next great running back for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
