Yesterday, McAfee discussed the idea of Rodriguez returning to coach the Mountaineers, saying, “I believe there is a chance that we find out who’s gonna be the next Head Coach for West Virginia today…Whoever it is, I’m with you and I will always be a West Virginia supporter.”
McAfee was an adamant supporter of Wren Baker throughout the coaching search process. He stated that he was “staying out of the way” and allowing Baker to do his “due diligence” in the search.
