Two Mountaineers Given Free Cars in Sponsorship Deal

Morgantown, West Virginia – The Voice of Motown was the first local business to reach out to support West Virginia athletes, but recently, other businesses in the area have signed deals with Mountaineers.

Today, West Virginia basketball players Jalen Bridges and Taz Sherman both partnered with Astorg Auto for a name image likeness deal.  Bridges and Sherman were both given 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokees.  The Cherokees are valued at $37,785 for base models.

Bridges, a Fairmont, West Virginia native, who is averaging 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a sophomore for the Mountaineers, said the following about his partnership: “Proud to announce that I’m partnered with Astorg Auto! This is my first car and to be able to receive it for all the hard work I put into the game of basketball is a blessing.”

Taz Sherman, a senior guard who is averaging 21.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the 8-1 Mountaineers, said, “I am happy to announce my partnership with Astorg Auto!  The best dealership in all of West Virginia.”
