West Virginia Falls in Disappointing Loss at UCF

ORLANDO, Florida — The West Virginia Mountainers dropped to 7-12 overall and 2-4 in the Big 12 Conference after a disappointing 72-59 loss to UCF (12-6, 3-3) in Orlando, Florida tonight.

West Virginia struggled with turnovers and mistakes throughout the game, but were led by a terrific performance off the bench from Josiah Harris, who finished the game with 15 points (5-8 3PT) and 8 rebounds. Noah Farrakhan had 8 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists, and Quinn Slazinski added 7 points and 3 rebounds. No West Virginia starters finished the game with double figures in scoring.

 

The Mountaineers are back in action on Saturday, January 27 at 2:00PM at Oklahoma State. The Cowboys are currently in last place in the Big 12 with an 8-10 overall record and a 0-5 recrod in conference play.
