FORT WORTH, Texas — The West Virginia Mountaineers have now won 4 consecutive games and have moved to 4-1 on the season with a 24-21 victory over the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas tonight!

West Virginia was led by Garrett Greene, who returned after 2 games absent with an ankle injury. Greene finished the game 10/21 for 142 yards with 0 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Greene also led the team on the ground, rushing for 12 times for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns. CJ Donaldson ran 22 times for 61 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Mountaineers have a Bye week next week and will be back in action on Thursday, October 12 at 7:00PM eastern against the Dana Holgorsen-led Houston Cougars in Houston. Houston is 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the Big 12 Conference right now, and got blown out today against Texas Tech, losing 49-28.
