West Virginia has reached out to Paul Mulcahy, who recently entered the transfer portal after four seasons at Rutgers.

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — The West Virginia Mountaineers have been very active in the transfer portal during this offseason, already landing Jose Perez, Omar Silverio, Kerr Kriisa, Jesse Edwards and RaeQuan Battle.

The Mountaineers recently missed out on Tennessee transfer Olivier Nkamhoua earlier this week, but they are not done yet. As reported by multiple sources, West Virginia has reached out to Paul Mulcahy, a talented senior transfer who averaged 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 37% from three point range.

Mulcahy, a 6’7 guard from Bayonne, NJ, has already been contacted by several schools. According to Adam Zagoria, Mulcahy has heard from Kentucky, Kansas State, Michigan and of course West Virginia.

The Mountaineers are already stacked at every position, but adding a veteran sharpshooter like Paul Mulcahy would certainly be icing on the cake!
