West Virginia Makes Preseason Top 25 List

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Heading into the 2023-2024 season, the West Virginia Mountaineers are not expected to be successful by virtually every major outlet and college football “expert.” According to Las Vegas, the Mountaineers are predicted to win approximately 4.5 wins this season. However, according to one social media platform, West Virginia will have a major turnaround this season.

The Mountaineers, who are coming off a 5-7 overall record and a 3-6 record in the Big 12 Conference, are ranked #25 in College Football Blue Bloods’ Top 25 Preseason Rankings. West Virginia’s Week 1 opponent, Penn State, is ranked #3 in the same preseason poll.

The Mountaineers travel to Penn State to play the nationally-ranked Nittany Lions this Saturday, September 2nd at 7:30PM. The game will be televised live on NBC.
