MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — The West Virginia Mountaineers (0-1) are huge favorites in today’s home opener against the Duquesne Dukes (1-0). West Virginia, who lost 15-38 at #7 Penn State last week, are 38.5 point favorites against Duquesne today.
According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, today’s game is the only one that the Mountaineers will be favored to win this season. West Virginia only has a 29.4% chance of beating Pitt in the Backyard Brawl next week and a 37.1% chance of beating Texas Tech the following week at home, according to ESPN’s analytics.
Kickoff for tonight’s game is scheduled for 6:00PM and will be televised live on ESPN+.
