HOUSTON, Texas — With the West Virginia versus Duquesne game in a weather delay, many fans of the Mountaineers are now tuned in to see The Battle of West Virginia featuring the Rice Owls, led by former WVU quarterback JT Daniels, and the Houston Cougars, coached by former WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen.

At halftime, Rice is absolutely dominating Houston and is currently up 28-7! Redshirt senior quarterback JT Daniels, who was the starter for the Mountaineers last season, transferred to Rice during the offseason and is currently having the game of his career. Daniels is 18-26 for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns at halftime!

If Houston goes on to lose this game, there is talk that Dana Holgorsen could potentially be fired after the game. Last week, Houston barely beat the University of Texas at San Antonio (17-14) and Holgorsen is only 27-20 in 4 seasons with the Cougars.
