MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, it was revealed that the West Virginia women’s basketball team is ranked in the Top 25! The Lady Mountaineers,who are now 11-0 on the season, most recently defeated Niagara 103-52 on December 21st, will open their Big 12 Conference schedule on the road against Kansas (7-4) this Saturday, December 30 at 1:00PM.
Head coach Mark Kellogg, in his first season as the leader of the Mountaineers, had the following to say today after learning that his team entered the Top 25 for the first time since 2021: “This is a Christmas gift for the hard work and dedication of our team, coaches and staff! Let’s Go!!”
