Why Was T.J. Simmons at Penn State?

Mountaineer social media found itself in a frenzy when it was discovered that Wide Receiver T.J. Simmons was visiting Penn State this weekend.

Although many speculated that it could have been for a potential transfer, Simmons took to Twitter to clear any confusion. In a tweet sent out late Saturday night, Simmons made it clear that he was only having “fun” and that he was “not going anywhere.”

Simmons is one of the best wide receivers on the Mountaineers. Losing him would have been a massive blow to the offensive unit. However, Mountaineer fans can now rest easy knowing that one of the most vital pieces of the offense will be returning in 2020.
