Over the weekend, the Mountaineers split a four game series with Georgia State, 2-2. After winning the opening game on Friday, 5-3 (10 innings), they would drop both games in a double-header against the Panthers on Saturday before closing out the series with a win on Sunday.
The Mountaineers travel to South Carolina this weekend for the Coastal Carolina Baseball Tournament. They will open the weekend against Kennesaw State on Friday at 11:30 a.m., then will play Coastal Carolina and Bryant respectively on Saturday and Sunday. The matchup against the Chanticleers will broadcast on ESPN+. First pitch is set to take place at 3 p.m.
